Why are you holding back from giving your all to Him,
Pouring love on the King?
Why are you holding back?  Is it deep insecurity?
Is it misguided modesty?
Don’t you know that Jesus will still love you?
He’ll still love you if you fail
Even though you face troubles here on earth
Remember that your soul is well

Once I thought hiding was humbleness and
Showing God’s gifting fed pride
Then I saw that it was excessive caution
Not glory to God in my life
When I do my best isn’t He magnified?
A father is proud of his child
If I then fall short my weakness shows His strength
As I come to Him broken, contrite

Don’t bury your talents in the sand
Shine your light before all men

Does fear grip your heart and make you tremble?
Does the unknown break your will and make you crumble?
But here, the Lord will guide you on your journey
Seek Him first, trust in Him, and live without worry!

Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean that we can’t do it

Light of the world, the Savior has called us
A kingdom of priests, a holy nation,
And Christ will give us strength!

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might
Put on His holy armor and stand for what is right
For we do not fight flesh and blood but we fight darkness
Powers, principalities, evil everywhere

Put on the armor of God (3x)
And He will give you strength

Stand firm with the belt of truth wrapped around your waist
Stand firm with righteousness set as your breastplate
Let your feet be ready to bring the gospel
Use the shield of faith to stop Satan’s arrows

Take the helmet of salvation and the mighty Spirit sword
Double-edge with sharp discernment, the living word of God
Always in the Spirit, bring Him your requests
Don’t grow weary, and keep praying for the saints
